Choose a Utah-licensed mediator from the divvi network. Sessions are a 2-hour Zoom block, $1,000 flat — split between both parties if you'd like.

Pre-session brief
divvi sends the mediator your modification issue, original decree terms, and what's changed — so the session starts working, not explaining.

The 2-hour session
Live over Zoom. If you need more time, additional time is $300/hour. Most modification disputes resolve within the 2-hour block.

Agreement to order
Whatever you agree to gets documented immediately. divvi generates the Stipulated Modification and proposed Order — court-ready, same day.

Questions
Do I have to try divvi Resolve first?
No — you can book a mediator directly. But if you've already paid for Resolve, that $500 applies as a credit toward your $1,000 Mediate session, so you never pay twice for the same ground.
Why is this different from divvi Mediate for divorce?
Modification mediation has its own scope and pricing: a 2-hour session at $1,000 flat, versus the 3-hour, $2,000 session used for an original divorce. Modification disputes are typically narrower — one or two changed terms, not a full settlement.
What happens if we run past 2 hours?
Additional time is billed at $300/hour. Most modification sessions — narrower in scope than a full divorce — resolve within the 2-hour block.
Are divvi's mediators Utah-licensed?
Yes. Every mediator in the divvi network holds current Utah certification under Utah Code § 78B-10 with family law experience.
What if we still can't agree after the session?
You move to a contested hearing. divvi can connect you with a Utah family law attorney for the remaining disputed terms.
