This policy describes when fees are refundable. The specific terms of the service you purchase — shown at checkout and in the applicable product agreement — may provide additional detail. Court filing fees are paid directly to the court and are not Divvi fees; the court's rules govern refunds of filing fees.
To request a refund or cancel, contact us at support@divviutah.com with your account email and the service purchased. We process eligible refunds to the original payment method.
| divviResolve (included) | AI negotiation (divviResolve) is included free with contested divorce, and with modifications and booked mediation. There is no separate fee to refund. If you already paid for Resolve before it was included, that earlier payment still credits against a later mediation under the terms that applied when you bought it. |
| Divorce mediation — divviMediate ($3,000) and divviMediate Pro ($5,000) | Fully refundable until your first session is held — your first session with your mediator or, on divviMediate Pro, with your Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, whichever comes first. Everything before that, including divviResolve, is covered by the refund. If the fee was split between you, each of you is refunded what you paid. Once that first session has been held, the fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome: mediation can end without an agreement, and that does not entitle either of you to a refund. Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before a booked session and nothing is lost; inside 24 hours, or a no-show, the session is recorded as held — and counts as your first session. |
| divviEvaluation ($500) | Non-refundable once paid. Everything paid toward the evaluation counts toward divviMediate or divviMediate Pro when either is booked within 30 days of paying, and that credit is applied once to your case. |
| Divorce mediation bought before October 2026 ($2,500) | Non-refundable. The fee covers up to six hours of divorce mediation; unused hours are not refunded and are forfeited when your divorce is finalized. Rescheduling more than 24 hours before a booked block returns those hours to your balance — inside 24 hours, or a no-show, the booked hours are spent. |
| Contested modification mediation ($1,000, paid by the party who asks for the modification) | The fee is refundable to the party who paid it until the first mediation session is held. A first session cancelled inside 24 hours, or missed, counts as held. Once the first session has been held, the fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome. Mediation can end without an agreement; that is a normal outcome and does not entitle anyone to a refund. |
| divviFile (included with divviMediate Pro) | divviFile is part of divviMediate Pro and has no separate fee; it falls under the divviMediate Pro terms above. A divviFile order bought on its own before October 2026 is refundable if you cancel before the filing specialist begins work on your case, and non-refundable once that work has started (preparing your filing, or helping you respond to the court). Court filing fees are separate and paid to the court. |
| divviReview bought before October 21, 2026 | No longer sold. A past purchase is refundable if you cancel before the review report is generated, and non-refundable once the report has been delivered. |

| divviModify — agreed ($500) | Refundable if you cancel before document generation begins. AI negotiation (divviResolve) is included free, so there is no separate Resolve fee on a modification. |
| divviModify Contested bought before October 2026 ($300) | No longer sold. A contested modification is now contested modification mediation above, which ends in a signed Memorandum of Understanding if you reach terms. A past purchase is refundable if you cancel before document generation begins. |
| divviPostnup (coming soon) | Coming soon. divviPostnup is not for sale, so there is no fee to refund. |
| divviAppraise — home appraisal ($700) | Refundable if you cancel before the appraiser has inspected the home. Once the inspection has taken place, the fee is non-refundable. |
| Home Valuation / CMA bought before October 30, 2026 | No longer sold. A past purchase is refundable if the valuation is not delivered within the stated timeframe or you cancel before the agent begins work. A CMA is an opinion of value, not an appraisal. |
| Subscriptions | Any monthly subscription is cancelable at any time and will not renew after cancellation. You will be notified before any automatic renewal charge. |
