The $358 divorce total is a $350 filing fee (Utah Code § 78A-2-301) plus a $8 vital statistics surcharge (§ 26B-8-128). The modification fee is set by § 78A-2-301. Both are identical in all 29 counties, so picking your county changes the courthouse you see, never the fee. If you can't afford it, you can ask the court to waive it.
