Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-10-19 · Utah, USA
This agreement applies to the product named above and is read together with the Terms of Service. Where the two differ, this agreement governs this product. divvi is a document preparation service, not a law firm.
"divvi Finance" is a brand under which divvi introduces clients to an independent, divorce-focused financial planning firm (the "partner firm"). The partner firm is disclosed to the client by name at the point of referral. The partner firm is not a divvi employee and does not act as your attorney, your financial adviser of record, or a fiduciary to you unless you separately engage it and it agrees in writing.
divvi is a document-preparation service and legal-technology platform. divvi is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, or tax adviser. divvi does not give investment advice, does not recommend what to do with your money, and takes no position on whether any financial decision is right for you. The financial overview divvi builds is a summary of information you gave divvi, for your convenience; it is not advice.
Nothing about your finances is sent to the partner firm unless you affirmatively ask divvi to share it. When you do, divvi shares only the financial overview it has already assembled from your own case information — for example: your income, the support you pay or receive, the assets you keep and the debts you take on, and, where they are jointly owned, the home's value, equity, and any buyout figure.
divvi never shares your spouse's information. One party's consent releases only that party's own data and the jointly-owned figures; the other spouse's income, assets, and debts are excluded at the point the data is assembled, not left to a person to remember.
You are shown exactly which items will be shared before you consent, and your consent is recorded (who consented, when, which fields, and the partner named on screen at the time). You may decline, and declining changes nothing else about your case.
divvi may receive compensation in connection with referrals to the partner firm. divvi discloses that a referral relationship exists so you can weigh it; a professional reached through divvi is independent, and you are free to use any financial professional you choose.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you gave divvi and for reviewing the overview before you share it. You are encouraged to verify the partner firm's qualifications independently and to read any agreement the partner firm asks you to sign directly with them.
Nothing in this disclosure or on the divvi Finance screens is legal, financial, or tax advice. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed professional.
