divviFile Service Agreement

What divviFile is

divviFile is a premium filing assistance service. A Divvi filing specialist prepares your filing package, writes the filing email to the clerk, tells you exactly where and how to send it, and then works with you on everything the court sends back — clerk rejections, corrections, requests for documents, and status updates — for the life of your case.

You are the filer

Your case manager prepares your initial filing packet and sends it to you, and you file it with the court yourself. You also send the final pleadings yourself. divvi does not file, submit, or transmit anything to a court. You submit your filing yourself, under your own name. You remain a self-represented party and the filer of record. Divvi's role is to prepare, explain, check, and follow up.

Roles and limits

• Filing specialists are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice.
• Filing specialists do not represent you, do not appear in court, do not communicate with the court on your behalf, and do not make legal decisions for you.
• You review and approve your packet, and you send it to the court.
• When the court needs something, Divvi tells you who to contact, what to ask for, and what to expect — you make the contact.
• Court filing fees are separate and paid directly to the court; the court's rules govern refunds of filing fees.

No guarantee

Divvi does not guarantee that the court will accept, approve, or act favorably on any filing. Courts may reject documents for reasons beyond Divvi's control.

Scope of service

divviFile covers preparation of your filing packages, the filing instructions and filing email, and assistance responding to the court, through acceptance or final disposition of the filing, as described at checkout. Any service outside that scope is a separate engagement.

Fees and refunds

The fee is stated at checkout. It is refundable if you cancel before the filing specialist begins work; once preparation work has started, the fee is non-refundable. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Changes 2026-10-19

Version 2.2. Version 2.1 said you submit the filing yourself, from your own email address. Version 2.2 states the handoff: your case manager prepares your court packet and sends it to you, and you file it with the court yourself by email, in person, or by mail. Divvi does not file, submit, or transmit documents to a court for you. This supersedes version 2.1. No new re-accept gate was added beyond the Pro signing text already in use (pkg-pro-1.6).

Version 2.3. Your case manager prepares your initial filing packet and sends it to you, and you file it with the court yourself. You also send the final pleadings yourself. divvi does not file, submit, or transmit anything to a court. This supersedes version 2.2. The Pro signing text is pkg-pro-1.7.
